The neighbourhood around a future Sde Dov home
How schools, shops, transport, the beach and opening dates shape a housing choice—and where Shavnu continues the property research.
Updated
This site answers what living in Sde Dov may be like: when each complex opens, where the schools, shops, beach, transport and services sit, and what exists today. Apartment availability, project specifications, asking prices, tender economics and developer records change faster and are researched separately on Shavnu.
The two publications share an owner and a source discipline, but they do not pretend to be independent confirmations of one another. Use this guide for the living context; use Shavnu for the buying decision and verify commercial terms with the developer and your own advisers.
Put the neighbourhood around the home
1. Choose the part of the district
Eshkol is first, with expected occupancy from around 2029. Central follows with the main promenade and hotel strip; North follows with a neighbourhood high street. Compare daily-life timing here before comparing individual apartments.
2. Compare real projects
Shavnu's project directory identifies the developer, lot, complex, status and published project information. A marketing name is not enough: match it to its numbered lot and planning record.
3. Read price evidence in context
Separate asking prices from signed transactions, launch offers from standard inventory, and apartment price from price per square metre. Shavnu keeps the market and tender evidence together so the land cost behind a project is visible.
4. Check planning and delivery status
A tender win, approved design plan, building permit, excavation and occupancy are different milestones. The lot-by-lot masterplan and dated journal show which one has actually happened.
5. Test the life around the building
Return here for schools, health, transport, beach access, ground-floor commerce and the opening sequence. A project can complete before the surrounding district feels complete.

Buyer questions
- Are SdeDov.city, SdeDovLife.co.il and Shavnu independent sources?
- No. SdeDov.city and SdeDovLife.co.il are language editions of one daily-life publication. Shavnu is its sister publication under the same ownership, focused on apartments, projects, prices, tenders and planning research.
- Does this site list apartments for sale?
- No. It explains the district around the apartment. Current project and buying research belongs on Shavnu; availability and binding terms come from the developer or seller.
- Why not copy every Shavnu price onto this site?
- Duplicating fast-changing market evidence would create stale pages and conflicting answers. This page explains the buying framework and links to the maintained source.
