Know the district

The city, in progress

Sde Dov, briefly

What is Sde Dov?
A new coastal district in north Tel Aviv, built on the site of the former Sde Dov airport. Plan TA/4444 sets it out as about 16,000 homes with roughly 125,000 sqm of commerce, 330,000 sqm of employment space, 3,000 hotel rooms and a two-kilometre beach promenade.
Is anything in Sde Dov open yet?
No. The district is under construction and nothing in it trades. First occupancy in Eshkol is expected around 2029, and build-out runs to around 2035. Every unit listed on this site is a place the plan permits, not a business that exists.
When will people move in?
Around 2029 for the first Eshkol buildings, around 2031 for Central, and around 2032 for North. Those are the complexes' expected first-occupancy dates rather than announced move-in dates for any individual building.
Where exactly is Sde Dov?
On Tel Aviv's northern coast, between the Reading power station and Tel Baruch beach, with Namir Road inland and the Mediterranean to the west. The old runway is about four kilometres from Rabin Square.
What is this site for?
It records what the plan permits, lot by lot, before the district exists: where the shops, restaurants, hotels, schools and offices will be, what each piece of ground allows, and when each complex is expected to open. Every figure carries a source.
Can I lease commercial space here?
Not yet, because nothing is built — but the ground floors are identified and each lot's developer is known, so an early approach is possible. The leasing page sets out who holds what and which documents to ask for.
