# Sde Dov — full context > An independent guide to daily life in Sde Dov, the coastal district rising on Tel Aviv's former city airport. The plan carries about 16,000 homes, 125,000 sqm of commerce, 330,000 sqm of employment and about 3,000 hotel rooms, with first occupancy around 2029 and build-out around 2035. Every figure carries a source and a date. Entities are numbered lots and commercial units from the district plan (TA/4444), not businesses: no venue on this site is invented, and none has opened yet. Plan lot numbers are not land-registry gush/helka numbers. Where a per-unit area has not been published the site says so rather than estimating. ## The district ### Eshkol complex The first complex under active construction.
